The time is always right to do good!
When I established Tenderness Skincare in 2024, I wanted to ensure it was a business for social good, especially as the idea for the company had come from my experience of working with children and young people who needed a tender response to their needs and who faced barriers to accessing suitable skin and hair products.
Since starting the company, I have been able to partner with a number of charities and other social enterprises to get my products into the hands of those that need it the most. I have worked with Replenish Culture CIC, Barnardo's, Cocoon, Care After Care and Power 2 Prevail CIC and we have given hundreds of pots of body butter to children in care, care leavers and children and young people who struggle to access affordable and suitable products. I have been able to do this work, thanks to my small but mighty community of customers, by putting profit into my work for social good and through campaigns, where customers have gifted body butters to those that need it. I hope to do more and more of this so watch this space. Please continue to follow me on this journey.
I am also open to any ideas of ways we can work together for good, whether you are representing a charity, small business or an individual that wants to make a difference like me.
The time is always right to do good! Let's collaborate for change!
